My initial idea to this brief after thinking about how a typeface could be damaged was resolution, to damage a typeface, take down the resolution and the type face could become completely non legible, i then began to look into resolution and taking it down and the letterform only becomes non legible when taken down to 1dpi, the lowest it will go.
although i really liked the idea and concept behind this i was struggling to find a way to make my idea aesthetically pleasing, therefore i left this idea behind and began with another idea.
The images shown above are helvetica G shown at 1 dpi and 300 dpi.
